Accomplished as a trainer of exotic, marine and domestic
animals; leader & teacher; dynamic speaker; behavioral engineer,
at the vanguard of creative and complex task designers and
problem solvers; international clinician and author; Founder,
Syn Alia Training Systems.

Bachelor of Animal Science, Masters of Science in Education
Professional Background
Trained animals at Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Mystic
Marinelife Aquarium, the US National Zoological Park-Smithsonian
Institution. In addition to training many animal professionals,
handlers and owners, she is a consultant to numerous zoos and
private institutions providing a wide range of services that
include:
Implementing state of the art training programs and
husbandry/animal management systems for domestic and exotic
animals;
Training and managing animal models/actors;
Research and behavioral engineering to develop animal-based

Other
Kayce travels internationally providing seminars, classes and
public demonstrations. Among her numerous published articles
are: Protected Contact: A New Era in Elephant Management
(American Trainer Magazine, July 2002); Introducing the

produced a manual for students of Bridge and Target, The Syn
